• • Mount Evans Scenic Bi-way
    The Mount Evans Scenic Byway is the highest paved road in North America. A day trip to the top is a journey that snakes and climbs through nearly 9,000 feet of elevation gain, from the high plains of Denver through five climate zones to the 14,264-foot summit of Mount Evans, one of 54 peaks in Colorado that soar to 14,000 feet and above - the famous "fourteeners."

    The Lariat Loop® Byway is a 40-mile route where you can retrace the motoring adventures of the early 1920s and experience the thrill of foothills exploration at the dawn of the Age of Motorcars.

• • Evergreen Lake
    Evergreen Lake Trail is a 1.3 mile loop. From the Evergreen Lake house, the trail winds along a boardwalk, through a wetlands area, then towards town.  You can take the high path into town or over the dam and to the backside of the lake.

    The center supports Evergreen and its surrounding communities in the visual and performing arts, bringing the arts and community together. CAE hosts classes, workshops, exhibitions and cultural events
