Entertainment & Venues
With 300 days of sunshine, outdoor weddings are very popular in Evergreen. Settings range from a whimsical fairy-filled forest at the Highland Haven, to the rustic beauty of The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park. Open fields at Meadow Creek Lodge and Event Center have provided a natural complement to the glamour of an indoor reception, while The Pines at Genesee offers couples a choice of two wedding terraces, both with wooden trellises and brick pavers.

Lodging & Travel
Guests who are attending a wedding in Evergreen have plenty of choices for lodging. Although some may opt to stay at the wedding or reception venue, not all locations offer lodging. The Bears Inn Bed and Breakfast features 11 charming guest rooms and a two-bedroom detached cabin. Wedding guests can rent one room or the entire inn can be rented out for your wedding party and guests.
Meadow Creek Mountain Lodge & Event Center sits amidst 10 wooded acres stretching alongside a scenic mountain valley. All retreats have a private bath and shower. Guests can enjoy hiking trails, redwood decks, a hot tub or drinks by the fireplace. Award-winning Highland Haven Creekside Inn offers such fun options as the TreeHouse, luxury suites, junior suites, Creekside cottages, the Fireside Lofts and more.
At the Alpen Way Chalet Mountain Lodge, each suite has a private entrance, private bath and private deck or patio. Most come with a full kitchen or kitchenette.
Public transportation options in our rural mountain community are limited. Uber, Lyft and others are sporadic and not consistent. We do have a local business that has multiple cars and vans for rent, Ride Need a Ride.
