Few places can rival the year-round beauty of Evergreen and the surrounding area, making it the perfect backdrop for a wedding no matter what season you're tying the knot. Yes, even the colder months have provided a magical setting, offering a snowy glisten to the bride and groom's Winter Wonderland wedding.

If your heart is set on getting married in Evergreen, the following resources can help you plan the perfect event from start to finish. From location and food to entertainment and lodging, find out what Evergreen can offer for that special day.

Venues

With 300 days of sunshine, outdoor weddings are very popular in Evergreen. Settings range from a whimsical fairy-filled forest at the Highland Haven, to the rustic beauty of The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park. Open fields at Meadow Creek Lodge and Event Center have provided a natural complement to the glamour of an indoor reception at the Lodge's Twisted Pines Pavillion, while The Pines at Genesee offers couples a choice of two wedding terraces, both with wooden trellises and brick pavers.

For a more traditional setting, Evergreen has several churches, synagogues-including Aspen Ridge Church and Congregation Beth Evergreen-that host weddings.

Lodging

Guests have a variety of choices when attending weddings in Evergreen and the surrounding area. Some opt to stay at the wedding venue, but not all locations offer lodging.

The Bears Inn Bed and Breakfast features eleven charming guest rooms, as well as a two-bedroom detached cabin. Guests can rent one room or you can rent the entire inn for your wedding party and guests.

Music

In addition to several local bands and wedding singers that can perform on that special day, there is also Sound Mountain Entertainment. The company offers the highest quality sound, lighting and DJ entertainment to help make your reception perfect. As experienced professionals, they'll provide the right music to set the scene for every moment.

Catering

The Pines at Genesee is exclusive to its in-house caterer, The Pines Catering. Since 1982, The Pines has catered thousands of weddings, rehearsal dinners, holiday celebrations and more. The Pines can cater any event, from an informal reception to a four-course sit-down dinner.

For venues that don't offer an in-house caterer, there is La' Cuisine of Evergreen. Wedding consultant Laurie Baumer, has been creating beautiful Colorado weddings for more than a decade. Working beside gourmet chef Dylan Shively, who is trained in the Colorado traditions of the world-famous Brown Palace Hotel, Baumer will ensure your reception is stunning, elegant and, of course, delicious. In addition to its finest selection of gourmet food, La' Cuisine of Evergreen offers a full spectrum of a party, event and wedding services, including venues, florists, staffing and musicians.

Evergreen also has a number of restaurants that offer catering, as well as bakeries and liquor stores to supply wedding cakes and alcohol for the reception.

Transportation, Flowers, Staff & Travel

Couples can find several transportation companies to provide limo service, a local florist and even a company that provides professional bartending and food service staff. Those needing help arranging flights for family and friends can contact one of the local travel agencies. Ask about a bridal registry, which gives guests the option of donating to the couple's chosen honeymoon.
